Standard One-Business License

This is a plain-language summary of the Standard One-Business License applicable to MarginForge products sold with that license. The full Terms of Service & End User License Agreement controls if there is any conflict.

License Scope

One paid Standard One-Business License covers one legal business entity. That business may allow its owners, officers, employees and temporary contractors to use internal working copies solely for that licensed business.

What You May Do

Use the purchased version of the Product for the licensed business's internal operations while the license remains in good standing.
Use the Product for internal estimating, pricing, job costing, profitability analysis and reporting.
Make reasonable internal working copies and backup copies.
Allow owners, officers, employees and authorized contractors working for the licensed business to use the Product solely for that business.
Allow an outside accountant, bookkeeper, consultant or other contractor to access the licensed copy solely while providing services to the licensed business.
Use calculated outputs in the licensed business's own customer quotes, proposals and internal business decisions, subject to independent verification.

What You May Not Do

Give, send or distribute the source Product to another business, friend, client, franchisee, affiliate or unrelated party.
Use one standard purchase as a consultant tool across multiple unrelated client businesses.
Upload or post the Product to a public download link, file-sharing service, shared template library, course, membership, social group or marketplace.
Resell, sublicense, rent, donate, white-label, rebrand or otherwise commercially redistribute the Product.
Sell derivative templates substantially based on MarginForge's protected workbook design, documentation or source materials.
Remove or falsify copyright, license, purchaser or ownership identifiers for the purpose of redistribution.

Consultant, franchise, multi-entity, holding-company, membership, training or enterprise use requires a written expanded license from MarginForge identifying the permitted scope.

Support

Eligible MarginForge Products that expressly include complimentary product support include thirty (30) calendar days of complimentary product support beginning on the original purchase date, subject to the 30-Day Product Support Policy. The license to continue using the purchased version may continue after that support period ends, subject to the applicable Terms.

Ownership

MarginForge products are licensed, not sold. Ownership of the Product's protectable design, documentation, source files and other intellectual property remains with MarginForge, LLC except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
